nespresso compatible machine Lattissima Coffee Maker Review
The Lattissima is a Nespresso machine that takes brewing one-touch to the next level. You can brew espressos and lungo coffee in a minute or less and can be used with the wide range of capsules.
The machine can be programmed to produce the exact amount of drinks you want. This is a great feature for busy families.
Easy to use
This basic, black Nespresso machine is simple to operate and maintain. It is simple and minimalist in design and has a single button on top that controls everything from powering washing to making coffee. Simply take off the lid, insert the capsule and click to begin making coffee. It heats quickly and offers many drink options such as double-shot espresso, a 5 8 or 18-ounce cup of coffee. It also comes with a steaming tool to create a textured, cafe-like appearance to your drinks. We love the small design and simple interface, however, we discovered that this machine wasn't as strong a cup of coffee or espresso as some models that are more expensive. It's also not as easy to recycle capsules like other machines we tested. This Nespresso was not the top choice in our test of side-by-side for these reasons.
Quick to brew
The De'Longhi Nespresso Vertuo Machine in Piano Black machine can brew an espresso cup within 15 seconds. The heated water from a reservoir is pumped through a pump that is able to penetrate the tiny holes that are on the top of the pod. It is then mixed with the ground coffee inside, and then drips into your cup. We tested the machine using Jones Brothers and Bestpresso capsules, and it produced an intense and delicious espresso that has a slight bite. We tested almond, whole and 2% milks and all performed well.
Easy to clean
It's essential to clean a Nespresso machine on a regular basis both inside and out. This will help keep it running smoothly and ensures it's safe to use. It can also make the coffee you make taste better. It is possible to clean a Nespresso with a variety of cleaning agents which include vinegar. It's best to use a descaling agent instead of vinegar as it can damage the machine.
To clean your New Nespresso machine, start by getting rid of all the pods, and washing the drip tray and capsule container. Fill the sink with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Let the drip tray or container soak for a few minutes in the soapy solution in order to dissolve any stain or gunk. Rinse them off with hot water, then employ a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to scrub off any residues or stains. After you scrub the drip tray and capsule containers then rinse them once more and allow them to dry completely before returning them to the machine.
After your machine has been cleaned, it is time to descale. Follow the steps in your user's manual to perform a specific procedure. In other cases, you can make your own DIY descaling solution using white vinegar or citric acid. However, if you're using vinegar, be sure to use white vinegar, not balsamic or apple vinegar since they are too harsh for this purpose.
